Returns and Refunds Policy
- Claims of damage, defect or error must be made within 5 days after receiving your order.
- Claims of freight damaged items must be made to the freight carrier. We will be happy to assist you in making your claim.
- Returns of non-defective items must be made within 15 days after receiving the items, in its original packaging and in salable condition. A restocking fee of 20% may be charged. Shipping related charges are not refundable.
- Special order items such as custom labels are NOT returnable. Please check with us BEFORE ordering to determine if item is returnable.
- A Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained prior to returning any item, and return freight prepaid by the customer. Return shipping instructions will be provided.
- No returns will be accepted after 15 days.
- Credit card refunds will be processed to the original credit card.
- Our shopping cart uses Secure Server Software (SSL) technology which encrypts your personal information, including your credit card data and prevents it from being intercepted over the Internet. We will never sell or share your personal information, including your e-mail address, to other companies for any reason, except as required by law.
- We will ask you for certain information when ordering products (name, address, e-mail address, credit card information.) This information allows us to process and fulfil your order, and to get in touch with you if necessary.
- The shopping cart check out form is the only place on our site that we collect personal information about you. We use the information we collect to track your visit to dougcare.com, process and ship your order, and to be able to contact you if you request it or if we have questions about your order. We do not track your visits by name, only by general information (such as the type of browser you use, the files you request, and the domain name and country from which you request information) to let us improve our web site and better serve you.
- We use a third party for credit card processing, verification and in some cases, to drop ship merchandise. We do not store your complete credit card information on our server. We will never send your complete credit card number by e-mail. We treat our data as assets that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. Access to customer information is limited to those employees who have a legitimate business need for that information
- We do NOT sell, trade or rent your personal information to ANYONE!
- Doug Care Equipment may provide some links to external sites as a convenience to the user. The inclusion of any link does not imply our endorsement of the external site company, its web site, or the products and services it promotes and sells. Doug Care Equipment is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.
- Since we do not store your personal information on our site, there is no reason for you request to have it deleted or changed.
